Writing in Real Life

"Writing In Real Life is here for the writer who struggles, the writer who makes mistakes and the writer who is passionately committed to writing regardless of acknowledgment, reward or honors. I have been on four shows, but the majority of my writing has been for my own self-growth and entertainment. My goal is to tell the truth about my writing path so that others may learn from it, grow from it and maybe get more juice for their own creative endeavors."

Adaptations in Film and Television

Eighty percent of all TV and Films bought in Hollywood are based on Intellectual Property (IP). As a working writer you will be asked to adapt short stories, books, newspaper articles and 80’s films. You will need to be faithful to the expectations of the series/franchise and also be true to the fans who know and love the underlying material. Additionally, you will need to express your voice and perspective while also respecting the intentions of the author.

Want to start writing your adaptation now, but don’t have the funds to purchase underlying material?  You find identifiable content that is free in the public domain. Reach out to me for links to great fiction, films and television, all in the public domain. Then bring your ideas and pitches to Writer’s Club and we will develop them into outlines and then into fully polished scripts.

In Writer’s Club we develop your message and voice within the truth of the underlying material.
